I’m going to Australia for the month of july and I wanted to work for 3 months, I was wondering what the best paying job would be for a backpacker? and also the nicest place to live for the months of july, august, september? What would the average monthly rent be ?

Well, it depends what your qualified in. But, the nicest place to be (in my opinion) for those 3 months of the year would be the one of the islands on the Whitsunday. Try South Molle Island, or any other island on the Great Barrier Reef. You can work on an island in pretty much any capacity, whether it’s cleaning, childminding, cooking, water activities (i.e sailing)….It’s the middle of winter at that time of the year and you can still go swimming.
Hope this helps you…..And have a great trip!

there isn’t much you can do on a tourist visa. check with immigration on the Jobs you can do. I think that most travellers end uo fruit picking in the farms.
rent varies on the accomodation and the area you want to settle in.
