I’m getting ready to receive guests and I would like to get your recommendations re cheap accommodation in Bangkok away from the Banglamphu area/district.

A nice hostel (with wireles internet) is found in Sukhumvit Soi 11 – behind the 7-Eleven opposite Ambassador Hotel’s main entrance. Use Nana BTS station.

The Nanachart Youth Hostel in Sukhumvit Soi 25 (use Asok BTS station) is more expensive, but bigger. And the problem with Suk11 is that it is almost always fully booked.http://www.travelfish.org/accommodation_…

They have some cheap but nice guest house by MBK. Soi Kasemson 1 and 2. Just across from skytrain. Just get off at National Stadium opposite MBK.
