I am VERY encouraged to read some of the cooments here by folks that aren’t buying into the hysteria!! Gives me hope for the future of our great country. The American people are wise enough to act upon situations that truly merit action, and smart enough to know when they are being lied to!!!

Though I don’t completely agree that we are being lied to, I want to believe that we are indeed wise enough to act. Politics is also environmentalism’s enemy, so I wouldn’t automatically label this “hysteria” as political propaganda. It just so happens that fear is the easiest human emotion to agitate. It gets anyone’s attention. I just think of this “hysteria” as a wake up call that make me want to know what’s really going on, beyond the environmental messages or political pitches.

Then, that means it’s alright for you to continue emitting pollution just because the ice sheets are not shrinking? If not for saving the planet or the polar bears or whatever else that needs saving, wouldn’t you think that cleaning up our act is still a better way to go?

I did not say or infer nothing of the sort! OF COURSE we should take good care of the planet! Fact of the matter is, the planet is MUCH better off now than it was when I was a kid in the 60′s. What I am against is the exaggerated scare tactics and draconian measures these global chicken little do-gooders wish to impose on the rest of us! Our amazing planet will be around a very long time, that is, if we don’t blow it up ourselves! That’s a whole other topic…

i’ve got 3 bright, intelligent children, and they will NOT grow up being brainwashed with this crap. they have already been taught the truth, and i will continue to teach them. my children will be thinkers, like myself, and allow the facts to help them draw their own conclusions. facts…hmm…what happened to the good ‘ole facts? oh yeah – politics.

i can only post 500 characters per post…thus my 3 seperate postings.al gore is a fool and it will all come out eventually. you are being duped by power and money hungry policticians who are making non-fact based decisions and passing laws that will affect our lives and cost us for years to come.WAKE UP and get the facts. enough of this foolishness.
